Delvick McKay is a gifted leader and visionary who has the outstanding ability to connect with people where they are and provide professional development and practical resources for personal growth. Delvick is an entrepreneur, community and spiritual leader, and public servant. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration and Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership from Tuskegee University and Amberton University respectively. With over 19 years of professional business experience and public service as a certified human resources professional, Delvick was one of the youngest junior-level officers at a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company at the age of 21. Youngest to be appointed as Department Director with the city of Dothan and the First African American to be appointed as Personnel Director. Identified as a Mover and Shaper in Houston County by Business Alabama in 2015. Delvick was the 2020-2021 First African American Man serving as Chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and he serves on the Executive Board. He has served on the Wiregrass United Way Trustee Board, Dothan Education Foundation Board, and Living Waters Counseling Inc. Board. He is also the Co-Founder of Christian Brothers Network Inc. and a proud pastor of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Headland, Alabama. A graduate of Leadership Dothan and LEAD (Leading, Educating, and Developing) at the University of Virginia-Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
Delvick is serving in his 13th year as Senior Pastor at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church where he has led in the creation of the GSMBC Community Development Corporation to focus on education, wellness, workforce development, and social services within the Headland community. Voted Man of the Year in 2015 by the Dothan Association of Women’s Clubs, Delvick’s humility and character are the model by which he governs his spiritual and professional life. Married to Lori for 16 years and proud father of Christian.
