The Headland Area Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Membership Banquet on January 16th at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Headland. The over 100 in attendance enjoyed a night of fellowship and networking. During the banquet, entertainer and saxophonist Kendall played for the crowd. Linda Robinson, Vice President of the Board, welcomed all in attendance and thanked our many sponsors. President of the Board, Pete Crews delivered remarks on the highlights of 2019. Pete Crews and Adrienne Wilkins, the new Executive Director, honored Ms. Gail Defee as Chairman Emeritus and Heather Shippey as the Volunteer of the Year. Our keynote speaker was Mary Helmer with Main Street Alabama and entertained guests talking about how Headland Main Street and the Headland Area Chamber fit together for the benefit of all.
