Little Miss Headland 1972-73 – Varina Ivey is also won the title of Miss Headland in 1984. She is the 2nd of 9 girls to win both titles. As Miss Headland, she placed 2nd runner up in the Miss National Peanut Festival Pageant. Varina is the daughter of the late Henry Ivey II & Bobbie Hopkins Ivey (Headland). She graduated from Houston Academy in 1983. Varina has two children, daughter, Ivey O'Neal (age 24?) and son, Benjamin O'Neal (age 22?).
