Little Miss Headland 1986-1987 – April Raybon was originally named 1st runner up in the 1986 pageant. After Little Miss Headland, Aja Wade won the 1986 Little Miss National Peanut in October 1986, April was given the title of Little Miss Headland and continued the reign until 1987 when she crowned the new Little Miss.
April is the daughter of Terry & JoAnn Raybon (Headland) and the granddaughter of William & Christine Raybon (Headland) and Howard & Emma Katherine Tucker (Ashford). She graduated from Headland High School in 1997. April has been married to Keith Alford for 19 years and they have four children, Emma (age 16), Zane (age 13), Zeke (age 11) and Ellie (age 10). She owns and directs a Christian Daycare and Preschool in Ashford and also homeschools her children.
