Little Miss Headland 1981-82 – Amy Jenkins is our 41st former Little Miss Headland posting and possibly was 1st runner up in the Little Miss National Peanut Festival pageant but this has not been confirmed. Amy is the daughter of Mitchell (Midland City) & Loretta Harrison Jenkins (Headland) and is the granddaughter of John & Rosie Nell Jenkins (Midland City) and Ralph & Frances Harrison (Headland). She graduated from South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia in 1992 and received a Business Associates Degree from Dekalb College.
Amy has been married to Tim Strickland for 23 years and they have three children, a daughter, Savannah (age 19) who is on a dance scholarship in Los Angeles, CA, sons, Dalton (age 16) and Logan (age 14) a Junior and 8th grader at Loganville Christian Academy. She is a stay-at-home mom wanting to enjoy raising her children. She and her husband own a commercial caulking/sealants business called Glory Waterproofing, Inc.
